One of the baddest jedi out there
Samuel L. Jackson discussed his role as Mace Windu
in the final installment to the latest Star Wars trilogy with Now Playing
Magazine. While Jackson can't say much about his role in Revenge of
the Sith, he does mention some bits.
Jackson Talks Star Wars: ROTS
Some of what you read may be a spoiler to you, but anyone who has seen the
Star Wars films a few times, and keep up with Star Wars
media, should notice nothing too shocking here:
For starters, Jackson said he’s still not quite
done shooting his scenes as Jedi Master Mace Windu.
“No, well, no,” he says when asked if George Lucas has completed filming
the picture yet. “I just got a call last week. I’ve got to go back to London
in January [for reshoots]. That’s what George does.”
Of course, with Revenge of the Sith said to be the darkest of the Star Wars
films, Jackson points out that not the happiest of fates awaits his character
in the final film.
“Dying!” is his response when asked what Mace is up to in Sith. “Yeah, like
all of the rest of the Jedi. I can’t tell you [the specifics], but yeah,
it’s an awesome death.”
