Apparently Chappelle's Show has stopped production
for the third season. What the hell?
Chappelle Season Three Stopped Yet Again
Dave Chappelle, host of Chappelle's Show and arguably
one of the funniest comedians on TV, has been amusing immature audiences
for two seasons. But the road for the next season has been riddled with
bumps. According to zap2it,
"Comedy Central noted back in December that Chappelle and his writing team
simply got off to a late start on writing new episodes. Then, the busy comic
was felled by a bout with flu."
This latest delay, about which every party has remained ominously silent, moves the start of the third season from the end of May to…well, no one will comment. Since they have not released the reason for the delay to the public, it is difficult to even conjecture how long it will take.
Fans will already have the first season on DVD, and can buy the second season starting May 24, 2005 (The Comedy Central website offers free shipping on it until June 30). Until then, stay tuned for updates.
