Quentin Tarantino is surrounded by who-whos at the Kill Bill
premiere.
If you are a fan of the television series CSI,
then you probably already know that it is Quentin Tarantino who will direct
the season finale [read here].
Now we learn that Tarantino had other plans besides the finale and that
CSI was only a warm-up round..
Quentin Tarantino Wants Television
According to a report from CSIFiles, Quentin Tarantino plans to continue
his career in television. Tarantino has fallen in love with the idea of
one-hour stories and used CSI to help bridge his gap between movies
and television. Here is a snippet of the report from CSIFiles:
Besides his love for CSI, Tarantino said he had one other reason for agreeing to helm "Grave Danger" -- to prepare himself for a full-scale move into television. "I'm interested in doing a show of my own," he said. "This was testing the water. There are some ideas that I've had for movies that are too long. Most people aren't down with four hour movies. But TV has caught up with my aspirations. You could truly do these stories as a TV show."
So can we expect Pulp Fiction: The Hourly Tales to hit our television
sets? Well, I would have to say that this move to television could be risky
for Tarantino, as he is known for his quality not quantity approach to films;
and television is a lot of quantity.
