Did NBC Steal from the Joes?
Two of the show's "Average Joes" say yes, according
to the Associated Press.
Alfred La Ponza and Bill Costaras, both "Joes" claim that the show used
their ideas and storylines for the show without giving them either money
or credit.
Specifically, they cite the use of plastic surgery on the Joes as something they proposed to the network.
I'm not sure which I think is funnier: that NBC
would have to steal already-trite ideas from its contestants, or that its
contestants think these ideas are worth stealing.
NBC refuses to comment, which is good, because the only appropriate response
is "na-na-na-na-poo-poo."
