"Six Feet Under" has never shared the success of its fellow HBO drama shows such as "Sex and the City," but it had its own cult following despite, or perhaps because of, the increasing oddness of the show.
Now, in the 60th episode, "Six Feet Under" has taken a surprising turn.
"Six Feet Under" Character Dies
In an unexpected turn for the season, one of the main characters, Nate, played by Peter Krauss, died this Sunday of a brain hemorrhage. The show spent the season toying with his death and his divorce from his pregnant wife. In an attempt to lull us into a sense of security the show, this season as well as this episode, have Nate plenty of false alarms and assurances of health.
Since dead people keep popping in on "Six Feet Under," it is possible Peter Krauss will show up again in the role of Nate, only slightly paler and possibly saying "wooo" while wearing a sheet.
