The boys begin working on their ladder to Heaven.
Oh yeah! Considering that one of the number one
informative shows I liked to watch while in college was the unbelievably
funny and surprisingly knowledgeable South Park. Currently finishing
its run on Season 9 [Season 8 was great], South Park has at least
a few more seasons of life left.
Southpark Expansion
According to Variety,
Comedy Central has recently signed a a deal with South Park creators
Trey Parker and Matt Stone that will keep the network's top-rated series
on the air through 2008.
What this means is that the network and comedic pair are now committed to
42 episodes, or three more seasons, of South Park over the next
three years; fourteen episodes a season. Parker and Stone will continue
to write, direct and edit every episode of the show.
Order brings the series tally of South Park
episodes to a whopping 182. However, it doesn't end there. An edited version
of the show will enter into syndication on September 19th.
If this means more episodes like 'Up the Down Steroid', 'AWESOM-O', 'Goobacks',
'The Jeffersons', 'Proper Use of a Condom', 'Fun with Veal' and 'A Ladder
to Heaven', bring on the new seasons!
