2005 Emmy Awards- LOST LOST gets ready with Emmy
If you happened to watch the 2005 Emmy Awards last night you may already know that ABC was able to give HBO a challenge with two new series, LOST and Desperate Housewives. However, Desperate Housewives got left behind with the top awards going to Everybody Loves Raymond for best Comedy Series and LOST for best Drama Series.

With the largest cult-like following I have seen and theories that have flooded the internet, was their any doubt LOST would take precedent at this award show?

LOST Season Opener

Talk about a boost to the upcoming second season opener for LOST. Who needs promotion when the first season walks through the 2005 Emmy Awards so easily. However, I have got to mention this disclaimer.

If you have yet to finish or watch the first season for the ABC series LOST you should close this browser window, drive over to your local DVD retailer and purchase LOST: The Complete First Season. Get home, open the heavily protected package and begin your LOST marathon. You only have a couple of days until the premiere of the second season of LOST this Wednesday. Any show that successfully mixes character driven stories, the paranormal, religion, faith, mythology and a beautiful set definitely deserves your attention for an hour a week.

Every time LOST really began to leave the envelope, it knew to quickly return to the one thing that makes this show amazing- the character. However, having multiple twists, mysteries and unexplained events helps too.

To further get us ready for the second season of LOST, expect a return to my original theory tomorrow with additional info (original theory).

Stay tuned for updates.
