Purchase Season 2 from Amazon
This has to be some of the best television news I have heard in some time. After nearly having my heart broken by news that Dave Chappelle was off of the third season of Comdy Central's Chappelle's Show, even though various episodes had already been completed, today's announcement claims that the hilarious sketch comedy is being resurrected. Hallelujah!
More Chappelle's Show
According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, we can definitely expect to see new episodes of Chappelle's Show will be released online as early as next week. This comes with a bit of relief to fans such as myself who were left in awe to hear that, even though Comedy Central did already have finished skits in the can, not a single episode of the third season was going to be shown.
I guess the influx of letters and phone calls demanding more Chappelle caused Comedy Central to reconsider and figure out a way to serve up the completed skits from the incomplete Season III.
If you are not big on the internet media, then you will have to wait a bit longer [2nd Quarter of 2006] when Comedy Central begins to show parts of the third season of Chappelle's Show on their cable network. Considering that we considered Chappelle's Show gone and dead, we have no complaints on any of the wait.
Though Chappelle's Show has been resurrected to serve up the finished episodes, do not expect a Season IV or additional episodes for Season III; Dave Chappelle is still out.
I am Rick James biatch!
As a sign of hope, Comedy Central said they would always be open to Dave
Chappelle coming back to resume Chappelle's Show.
Stay tuned for updates.
