It’s that time of year again when the biggest networks spew out a string of pilots in the hopes of snagging a new primetime hit. Several new stars have been added to the biggest network’s greatest contenders. Here’s a little sneek peak at who’s who in 2006.
Spring Pilots
The lineup includes a new pilot for Oscar winning actress Marcia Gay Harden as she joins the cast of ABC’s drama “Drift.” The show tells the story of a New York detective afflicted with insomnia. Harden will play his therapist.
CBS’s new drama “The Way” focus on a wealthy East Coast American family who uses witchcraft as the foremost ploy in the business world. Much lauded screen and television actress Jane Alexander (“Karmer v. Kramer”) will star as head of the family.
James Woods’s new legal drama, “Shark,” has added Romy Rosemont (“Shopgirl”) to its minor slew of stars. Rosemont will portray the secretary to Woods’s prosecutor.
