Now that HBO has closed out the latest season of Sopranos the window has been opened for new shows to come and fill in for the summer. One such show is Dane Cook's Tourgasm, which is set to premiere on June 11th.
Tourgasm Coming Next Week
I remember watching Dane Cook long before he became the popstar of the stand-up comedy network. The DVD that was included with the "Harmful If Swallowed" album had me laughing uncontrollably on repeat occasions and was a guaranteed hit with not only friends but with the family as well.
Dane Cook -- who became famous for his high-energy antics -- exploded onto the scene with his take on the Catholic Church, working a drive thru, fast food pranks and Monopoly. After proving he was here to stay during the Comedy Central's Insomniac Tour (watch clips), Dane Cook has now earned himself his own show on HBO. Titled Dane Cook's Tourgasm, the show looks somewhat like MTV's Viva La Bam, but a hell of a lot funnier.
Seriously now, what can be better than touring around with Dane Cook?

In the spring of 2005, Dane Cook invited three fellow comics to join him on a sold-out stand-up tour across the U.S. Performing 20 shows in 30 days across 28 states, Dane, Jay Davis, Robert “Bobby” Kelly and Gary Gulman traveled on a bus, shared meals and jokes, waged friendly competitions and not-so-friendly arguments. Can these four comics survive the pressures of the stage, their audiences and, most importantly, themselves? Find out on Dane Cook’s Tourgasm, a new HBO Sunday-night series, premiering on June 11th at 11 PM ET.

Get ready to laugh your ass off beginning on June 11th.
