If there is one thing I know it is that HBO should hire me. Now, I really only have a couple good ideas for the station, but one of them would be an easy winner to set up. Think two syllables -- 'spinoff'. One of the characters that literally made Entourage last season was Jeremy Piven's Ari Gold. With lines like, 'Let's hug it out bitch,' and, 'I don't know who blew who,' it was impossible not to anxiously wait for the characters appearance on screen every time.
With that type of pull, why not create a spinoff show all about Ari Gold and his career with multiple clients? I know, I know... freakin' genius. HBO, I am awaiting your call.
Though I don't expect my phone to ever ring, we do have some new clips support my case.
Entourage S3 with Ari
In anticipation of the third season of Entourage this upcoming Sunday, June 11th, HBO had a special site dedicated to Ari interviews. Though the site had some interesting drawbacks, somebody was cool enough to record some of the highlights including a small segment of Ari breaking out into a beat box rap.
