Don't tell me you don't want to laugh
For all of you Ali G fans out there [the skit where
he was the gay Austrian TV host with the homophobic wrestlers was hilarious!],
here is the latest Ali G update.
Ali G Starts Riot
During the filming of the Ali G Show, a show that plays on extreme
satires that could offend most, Ali G was playing his [best] character known
as 'Boraq Sagdiyev from Kazakhstan.' All things were going well up until
'Boraq' decided to sing the national anthem for a bunch of rodeo organizers.
However, before doing so, 'Boraq' tells the organizers that he supports
America's war on terrorism, and follows this by stating:
I hope you kill every man, woman and child in
Iraq (news - web sites), down to the lizards ... And may George W. Bush
drink the blood of every man, woman and child in Iraq.
To make matters worst, 'Boraq' improperly sings 'The Star Spangled Banner.'
While some may find this funny, the organizers quickly grew hostile, requiring
Ali G to be escorted, under protection, out of Salem Civic Center.
Ali G Loses Director
Todd Phillips, the man behind Old School, has dropped out of Boraq,
the story of an Khazakstani immigrant who comes to the US. Yes, the same
Khazakstani immigrant known as Boraq Sagdivey featured on the Ali G
Show. I don't know if the skit mentioned above has anything to do with
it, but some fingers point 'yes.'
