The 58th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards are coming and we now have our complete list of nominations.
Emmy Noms for 24 and Sopranos
Sometimes I just can't figure out the choices made for award shows. HBO once again received the most nominations with a whopping 95. I had hoped that Entourage would have nabbed a few of those noms but that is not the case. Instead the nominations remained conservative and stuck with shows such as The Sopranos; though I do believe that this last season was the worst of them.
ABC took a major hit by having both LOST and Desperate Housewives miss out on their respective brackets. LOST won best drama series last year.
CBS is dancing a jig after receiving nominations for both Two and a Half Men and King of Queens.
Though HBO was able to pull in a total of 95 nominations, the big contender this year is the Fox series 24 starring Keifer Sutherland. Pulling in a whopping twelve nominations, the show has finally matched its Emmy premiere in 2001. This should not come as too much of a surprise considering that Season 5 is considered the best yet.
No wife, no Mrs. Palmer, and no Kim means ratings gold.
