Rawhide Rawhide
It’s hard to remember what a young Clint Eastwood looked like. Even his early classics present a relatively grizzled persona. At 29, Rawhide showed the most youthful Eastwood you’ll find without freeze framing B movies of the ‘50s.

Rawhide DVD Review

The new Complete First Season DVD presents Rawhide in far greater condition than you would imagine for a nearly 40-year-old TV show. The black and white images are pristine with only occasional flecks. Frankly, you’ll only notice the slight blemishes if you’re really looking.

A nice extra feature is production notes which are available by the page for each episode. Since it’s only one page at a time, you don’t have to read screens after screens on end. You just get a neat piece of trivia before you take in another episode.

Stay tuned for updates.
