Prison Break Season One
The documentary on the tattoo is the money feature. It tells us everything we want to know about the design, application, last minute challenges and the parts of it we haven’t seen yet.
Prison Break Season One DVD Review
Fox Movie Channel does a solid behind the scenes featurette. It’s plot heavy because it was promotional, but seeing the cramped crews shoot in prison cells seems like the essence of the show. It focuses on a few scenes so you get inside some specific season one moments.
Compare that to the generic making of features. People talking about how the script was groundbreaking, they couldn’t put it down. It may very well be sincere but how many times can you hear that? The interviews seem very prepared, which is fine, but it’s a press release. They are on the set while they’re talking, but there are few B-role shots, just show clips. The end with certain actors saying hi to the fans is just silly.
A spot on the Joliet prison is like a History Channel documentary with former employees taking us through all the operational details of the legendary location.
Stay tuned for updates.
