Conan O'Brien as host of the 58th Annual Emmy Awards
When it was announced that Conan O'Brien would be crowned the "King of Late Night" in 2009 many rejoiced. I was shocked, however, to see how much of the way-older crowd wasn't all that excited by the upgraded Conan. Are you freakin' serious? He has been the unofficial "King of Late Night" the past half-decade at least and is very deserving of his upcoming title.
Don't believe? Well, check out a couple new clips of Conan O'Brien that have just recently caught my attention.
Conan O'Brien at the Emmy's and Stuyvesant High School
If you happened to miss the 58th Annual Emmy Awards, then you also missed Conan's very Academy-like intro video that had audiences laughing. In an attempt to make it to the 2006 awards show, Conan must go through various television programming.
Now that you are done chuckling at that video, it is time to meet Conan in the flesh. I don't know what Stuyvesant High School did to win Conan's favor, but I would have done anything to have him come as the keynote speaker at UCSB. I instead had some rich lady that confused the students, teachers and parents with jibber-jabber.
Conan O'Brien appeared as the keynote speaker at Struyvesant HS and had the audience laughing for a whopping twenty minutes. Hilarious!
