I am not going to lie -- I was one of the many who were thrilled when HBO announced Dane Cook's Tourgasm series. The show -- as it turns out -- featured more drama than The Surreal Life. Come on, I thought comedians were supposed to be funny. Well, thanks to my undying love to Dane Cook, I am willing to let bygones be bygones and watch Dane Cook's Vicious Circle with an open mind and a clear slate.

HBO wants you to know that Dane Cook's stand up performance, Vicious Circle, is coming our way on September 4th at 9PM. Now, I don't know if this is supposed to be the culmination of Dane's efforts on Tourgasm -- as in jokes practiced -- but Dane Cook has a winning record with stand up and I can't see anything that will stop him now.
Again, the man is Dane Cook.
