Lost Season Two Lost Season Two
Come on, are there really any Lost fans who haven’t already poured over every episode multiple times to find all the little details? Of course, those are probably the fans that would continue to own each season for future reference. This one has a few extras that will satisfy additional curiosity, but don’t expect any actual revelations.

Lost Season Two DVD Review

The real meat of the bonus features is on “Phase 3” of the bonus disc (It’s a Dharma theme). Lost Connections is a complicated game that shows you where characters have met before. I could not get out of a ridiculous circle between Ana Lucia, Sawyer and Jack’s dad, but I eventually got to see some bit players (like a diner waitress) who recurred.

Mysteries, Theories and Conspiracies actually interviews fans about their thoughts. You may hear some new ones in between the creators being vague. They might not have wanted to show Carlton Cuse admitting that they’re not putting that much thought into the plot. Hmmm.

“Lost” Flashbacks include three extra tidbits. Two are from Shannon’s final episode, and one is from Locke’s father issue episode. All of them just reinforce themes that were already in the episodes, so don’t get too excited. I guess giving Maggie Grace a little more air time is nice.

Deleted scenes are kind of the same situation. Some interesting details include Libby visiting Sawyer while he’s in the pit, Libby and Sayid discussing Ana Lucia, Libby discovering her shirt on Claire, and Sayid articulating the vulnerability between himself, Locke and Jack. At least these nuances address connections and character developments. Libby listing her psychiatric specialties seems pretty significant. Did we know that before?

Stay tuned for updates.
