Kristanna Loken
There are many statements one could make that are beyond true. Take for instance Kristanna Loken. One could say that she is smoking hot and rarely find any disagreement. If there does by chance happen to be a guy out there who disagrees, find him quick and administer some quick healing by smacking some sense into him.
Loken, who first turned heads as hottie hitbot in Terminator 3, has been hanging uncomfortably close to Uwe Boll recently with both Bloodrayne and Dungeon Siege. It turns out that the Sci Fi Channel has also had their eyes on her -- spawning the question, "Who doesn't?" -- and recently gave the young actress her own starring vehicle.
Kristanna Loken for Painkiller Jane
According to Variety, Sci Fi Channel has picked up Kristanna Loken to star in their upcoming original series Painkiller Jane, a show recently greenlit and expected to have 22 one-hour episodes debut next spring.
Loken will play the titular character Jane Vasko, a DEA agent recruited by a covert government org tasked with capturing genetically enhanced individuals. When she discovers that she has her own set of powers -- she's impervious to injury, but not pain -- Jane begins to search for what caused her transformation and her own connection to the people she pursues.
Painkiller Jane is based on the comicbook created by Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Quesada.
Production begins next month in Vancouver.
Loken can currently be seen in Showtime's The L Word.
