Though I found the latest epidose of Heroes to be my least favorite, that didn't stop the show from gaining even more viewers.
Heroes Continues to Soar
According to Variety, NBC has recently been crowned Monday ratings king thanks to a kickoff at 8PM with Howie Mandel on Deal or No Deal (16.6 million viewers) and then the finale with Heroes. Deal or No Deal was the big winner in its time slot with Fox's Prison Break coming in second with just over half the viewers (9 million).
The big talk of the town, however, is Heroes. Thanks to strong word of mouth, the show has done it again with increased viewership from week to week. Last week the amount of viewers went from 13.3 to 14.3 million and this week the show has taken a smaller, yet significant step up to 14.7 million.
With a disappointing show this week and the lack of a surprise twist that viewers have come to expect, NBC is looking to deliver big next week. More of these 'heroes' come together and we should get to find out if you-know-who is dead. Personally, I hope he/she is; didn't care much for her character.
