Lena Headey
It turns out that the character Sarah Connor has more strength and staying power than the Terminator himself. While Schwarzenegger celebrates his win for a second term, Fox is moving forward with their pilot The Sarah Connor Chronicles and have found their lead in the beautiful, but far from fragile, Lena Headey.
Lena Headey to Star in Fox Pilot The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Lena Headey first caught my attention with her subtle beauty in The Brothers Grimm; I thought she was the real life version of the character Lara Croft. I am told that she has been sexy long before Grimm, but I am going to need some proof on that one.
Though Lena Headey will turn even more heads with her role as Queen Gorgo in 300, it will most likely be The Sarah Connor Chronicles that knocks her into hottiedom, I mean hottiedom, I mean stardom.
The project, from Warner Bros. TV, continues from the first two Terminator films by focusing on Sarah Connor and her future-hero son, John, as they fight those from the future to protect present-day Los Angeles. I would assume this storyline is a little weak considering we all know what happens to Sarah and John and that all Terminator movies before the third installment were useless in preventing the imminent future.
Headey will take over the role made famous by James Cameron's ex-love Linda Hamilton.
Headey was recently seen in The Cave and Ripley's Game and will return to theatres next March in 300.
Josh Friedman will write and David Nutter will direct the Sarah Connor Chronicles pilot.
