Can you use the words bitch and whore on primetime
network television?
I guess so, at least on this episode of The Bachelor - Women Tell
All.
The Bachelor Rome- Rundown #7
The 10 girls chosen to participate are Kim, Sarah, Ellen Gina, Jeanette,
Erica, Lisa, Jami, Agnese and Desiree.
Chris our host begins by talking about the first night when the rose and
earrings were offered to a girl who gave Lorenzo a great first impression.
From there he calls Lisa into the ‘hot seat’. An overview of
Lisa’s time on The Bachelor is shown. Chris asks Lisa what is with
the wedding dress and the timeline. Ellen speaks up to Lisa saying she should
just live her life as it comes don’t try to plan it. Sarah then calls
Lisa a “Bachelor whore”! OMG can you say that on ABC in primetime?
Jami is the next one in the hot seat. They show scenes of her opera date
with Lorenzo. Jami got teary watching it. She compared the night to the
movie “Pretty Woman”. Erica shouts at her “Why would you
compare yourself to a prostitute?” Jami responds with “Erica,
you’re such a bitch”. No love lost here.
Chris talks about the firsts on this season of Bachelor. The first
bikini football played on the Mediterranean, a game of Truth or Dare in
Tuscany and the first bachelorette to pass out on a group date. What a fun
date Kim would be.
Our host Chris talks about the ‘surprises’
of the series; the two Italian girls. He calls Agnese to the hot seat. This
was followed by clips of Agnese. The date was shown when Agnese got the
rose and not Erica. Some of the girls were saying she was too aggressive.
Erica calls her ‘Scagnase’. Chris asks “Do you understand
what they’re saying?” Erica thought Lorenzo had a ‘prince
charming complex’. He wanted to pick the poor girl and make her into
a princess. She thought being on The Bachelor must be what it would be like
to be on Survivor. You had to share a room; there were no maids, etc. Our
little Erica has obviously never really watched Survivor. Lisa chimes in
with, “Erica is the only honest person.” This is followed by
a piece in which Kelly Ripa is imitating Erica – ranting and crying
incessantly.
Now Prince Lorenzo comes out to take the hot seat. “Are you glad you
did this?” Chris asks. Lorenzo assures him he is a risk taker and
always would have wondered what could have happened if he hadn’t done
Bachelor. He feels being in love is the best feeling in the world. Lisa
asks him “What was the big deal about her wanting to get married,
because if the show works that’s the outcome?” She is right
– that is the supposed premise of the show. Lorenzo tells Agnese he
didn’t want to take her away from her family. I love that about him.
He assures Jami that neither of them was feeling any chemistry. Our prince
tells Erica even though she thought he was harder on her than the other
girls she thought their commonality was money, he was looking for a commonality
in values.
Finally we have Lorenzo’s take on the two finalists. He feels Sadie
can light up a room and makes him feel like the most important person in
the world. Jennifer is gorgeous with a passion for her job and children.
She is a caring person and he like the way she makes him feel. He feels
there is ONE right person for each person.
Next on The Bachelor Finale. Lorenzo and his parents will be in
a room with Sadie, Jen and their parents. Now that’s riveting television.
There’s no place like Rome. Until then ciao!
