My Name Is Earl DVD My Name Is Earl
Even though most of the characters on this show are dirty and grubby, My Name is Earl is a colorful HDTV presentation. The JVC projection set makes it look like high class detailed cinema on sitcom trash.

DVD Review: My Name Is Earl on HDTV

The Crab Shack bar has solid reds like a bright corvette, without the car. Exteriors are bright and livelier than real nature. Only the motel room is a beige/orange nothing.

The actors shine like color headshots. Skin clothes with crisp details. The ladies look fantastic with Nadine Velazquez's golden perfect skin and Jaime Pressley's deep muscle definition and bone structure.

The guys of course are dumpier, but you'll see all the colors in Earl's flannel patterns and Jason Lee's stubble. Crab Man's dreadlocks and Randy's rolls all make for interesting HDTV viewing.

Stay tuned for updates.
