Desperate Housewives Desperate Housewives
There may be no more diverse HDTV subtlety than on Desperate Housewives. Each lead's world has a slightly different look within the suburban world, and the JVC projection HDTV set shows it all.

Desperate Housewives On HDTV

The opening credits, when shown in their entirety, look like oil paintings, shiny and bursting with color. Bree's world of pastels lights your whole living room. Marcia Cross's skin is porcelain, perfect white with no blemish.”

Gabrielle's is a golden home, rich with antiques (before they destroyed them all at least). Their deep texture matched by the glowing foundation of Eva Longoria's skin. Edie's freckles are so hot and each one pops off her chest and arm. A normal TV would make her whole body a standard blur of flesh, but HDTV makes me an ogling perv.

Susan's world is a white fantasy. Whatever the setting of her latest escapade, it seems like it's all white balanced to show accurate, crisp colors. Lynette's is the most suburban without flashy colors, but it all looks great in hi-def.

Stay tuned for updates.
