Jonathan is telling Candice he would have been the one to go had he not voted with the former Aitu tribe at last tribal council. Parvati declares ‘game off’; she no longer wants to be in an alliance with Jonathan. She actually thinks she may throw up on the ‘filthy, miserable rat’. Jonathan tells Parvati, Adam and Candice Yul has the idol. He fears his days are numbered, as there is not one person Jonathan has not sold out or pissed off.
On day 29 there is a Survivor Auction. Each survivor is given $500 to spend however they wish. They can share money, but can not share food. Most items are covered so the survivors do not know what they are bidding on. Jonathan wins the first auction for a hot dog, fries and a beer. That should be great on the old GI tract. The next item Jeff reveals is a warm bath and a slice of chocolate cake. Parvati has to have this item. The next auction prize is a piece that yields you “power in the game”. Yul and Becky pool their money to outbid Candice and Adam. Jeff has Becky come up and read the contents of the envelope which states someone should be chosen to send to Exile Island immediately. I’ll give you three guesses who she picks – Candice. This will be her fourth time to Exile Island. Jeff reminds her there is the idol to find on the island. Candice shakes her head and says “I think I know where it is”. Yul responds, “I’ll end the suspense, I have it.” He then proceeds to get it to show everyone. Jeff asks why he would show it. Yul replies he used it at a pivotal point to change the game and now he feels the numbers are going his way and the idol isn’t important anymore. Now Yul is a great player, but that has to be one of the dumbest moves ever. Ozzy bids on and wins unlimited ice cream until the auction ends. The next item that is an unknown is won by Sundra. Poor girl, it is a sea cucumber. Jonathan wins the next food item which is a pepperoni pizza. This is followed by oral hygiene products. Jeff then abruptly announces the auction is over. How did Jonathan manage to win all the best stuff?
Back at camp, Parvati is really trying to stir the pot to get everyone to vote Jonathan out. She said he has been nothing but obnoxious since coming back from the auction. He is belching and being disgusting about how full he is.
She has had it with him.
The immunity challenge is a quiz on the events of the last 30 days. There are four questions to answer; the answers each have a corresponding number. When these numbers are added, subtracted or multiplied the answer is a number to get a key to open your box and raise a flag. The first three to finish will move on to the finals. Jonathan and Adam are the first two to finish. Parvati barely beats Candice. Poor Candice. The second round has more questions. And after really being bad at most challenges Adam pulls this one out and wins immunity. Dude, you need to win them all from now on or you’re outta here.
Parvati and Candice try a final appeal to Yul to get rid of Jonathan. In one of the best attempted plays in Survivor history, Adam, Candice and Parvati tell Yul that since he seems to be the ‘ringleader’ they will not vote FOR him in the finale if he doesn’t do something to get rid of Jonathan. Everything at camp breaks down into juvenile name calling. The former Raro are referring to Jonathan as a rat and cancer. And Yul finally says, “We’re all trying to play the game.”
At tribal council Candice is voted out and she and Adam share a long passionate kiss. Jeff makes a wise comment “The kiss is nice maybe if it were love he’d have given you the immunity necklace.” So true.
Will Parvati and Adam be able to get rid of Jonathan or more importantly save themselves? Will Yul and the former Aitu remain in command of the game and go to final four? See which of the ‘lucky seven’ will Outwit – Outplay – Outlast.
