E3 highlights
The E3 conference is drawing to a close. To make finding out the important news from the conference, here are a few (a very few) noteworthy games featured this year.
E3 Highlights
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Link is back and he looks all sorts of old skool.
The new Zelda game Twilight Princess brings us back to
the N64 style of Zelda. Don't get me wrong, Windwaker
was great and all, but I'm glad to see Link getting back to his old self.
Twilight Princess is set to come out for GameCube sometime around
the 2005 holiday season.
The Movies
Remember how cool Sim City was when it
first came out? Remember how even cooler The Sims was (a game I
had to stop playing because I began dreaming in sims instead of real people)?
Activision is coming out with a game that promises to follow in the tradition
of those landmarks: The Movies.
Like Sim City, in The Movies the player builds; only this
time instead of a city, he or she builds a movie studio. Sounds OK so far.
It gets much better.
With The Movies the player can make productions once the studio
is built sufficiently. Your own movie studio can produce little features
of your very own.
The Movies is set to come out for PC, Xbox, GameCube, and PS2.
Taxi Driver
Taxi Driver
is making everyone talk. Based on the movie of the same title it is predicted
to be something like Grand Theft Auto. How could it not be? The
question is, will the influence of such a dark movie take it to a new level?
Taxi Driver is by Majesco Games and is set to come out for Xbox
and PS2. |
