As if Nintendo didn't have enough to worry about,
with doomsayers howling and rumors flying, they have added something serious
to the list. Rumors indicate that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
may not be out until March 2006, at the earliest.
What the Hell, Nintendo
I am a patient woman. I am also a loyal woman. For these two reasons, I have defended Nintendo in the face of the above-mentioned problems. I frequently argue with a PS2 enthusiast about the possibility of Nintendo consoles becoming obsolete. How could the people who brought us Mario, Link, and Donkey Kong ever cease to be a part of our gaming lives?
Beneath all of this ardor lies the firm belief that the Legend of Zelda
series constitutes the greatest video game series ever. Nintendo could completely
stop making anything but consoles that play only Zelda games at
$200 a pop, and I would still buy them every year.
So what the hell, Nintendo? First you came out
with no passable Mario game for GameCube (Luigi's Mansion my ass),
and now this! I heard the rumors and went to Gamespot
who claim that the release date will be on or after April 1, while other
rumors have placed the game's release in March.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will probably have its release
date pushed from November till far after the holidays.
