The new PSP is attracting more and more games that
traditionally perform better on consoles than
handhelds. Maybe the graphics, infinitely better than
most handhelds, allow gaming companies to experiment
with games that have until now failed in the handheld
platform.
Namco to Release Dead to Rights: Reckoning for PSP
The latest to venture into these new territories
is Namco's Dead to Rights: Reckoning. According to Gamespot,
Reckoning will come out for PSP this summer.
The Dead to Rights trio began with the original, set for PS2, Xbox,
and GameCube consoles as well as PC. The second Dead to Rights
was an inferior game for GBA.
Now, Namco promises that they will take care of
the development, instead of outsourcing as they did the last one. The PSP
version of Dead to Rights: Reckoning has new features, such as
weapons and maneuvers, that will make it unique from the first two.
One of the best things about such a potentially
playable game coming to PSP is that it might convince
all of those PSP buyers that the money was worth it.
So far, the system is great, but the games are few.
Dead to Rights: Reckoning comes out in June and will sell for $39.99.
