Its General Grievous!
Alright, about time we got some nice new Star
Wars Revenge of the Sith media. The latest output comes
directly from the official Star Wars website, which is now hosting
three new ROTS TV spots that comprise the second wave of television
marketing for the film.
Revenge of the Sith Spots
Obviously, no matter how the latest TV spots look
for Revenge of the Sith, most fans couldn't be happier [unless
of course they released the film early]. The only thing that bothered/surprised
me was the fact that the narrator for the trailers was kind of old fashioned.
What happened to the guy who sounds like he smokes cigarettes and can swing
me like a bat? The narrator for these TV spots just doesn't do it for me.
It kind of makes the films seem too 'kiddie'; something I hope that Lucas
is not trying to overdue for his now-rated PR-13 film.
In addition to that, there were a few scenes that bothered me from the clips.
The first scene that caught my attention is when Anakin and Obi-Wan are
fighting on the lava. Something about it seemed very CG for me and too fake.
But it is a quick shot, so maybe they are working on it. The second item
that bothered me is when Palpatine starts up his red lightsaber. Something
about it looked odd and fake; even more so than the original series. Anybody
with me on this? Or maybe I am just being too picky.
