Response to Brandon Routh Kent
Again, I cannot imagine another person who could
fit the look so perfectly [at least no one big], and it seems that others
had thought the same thing. According to a report sent into MovieHole
about Routh in Superman Returns, 'three of the most powerful producers
in town' met to discuss how happy they were with Brandon Routh as the successor
to Christopher Reeves. Here are some snippets from the report below:
Those present included three of the most powerful producers in town -- and it was the first time in over a decade that the three of them had even bothered talking to each other! The subject? (After the 4th bottle of white wine): Superman Returns.
All three (with a collective box office of over US$ 4 billion +) talked NOT about Bryan Singer, nor WB's financial expenditure... but about one thing, and one thing only...
Brandon Routh... all were of the same opinion: Thank Christ this kid has been cast.
But all had seen the pics, and all were in total agreement: This kid is THE Man of Steel
