Kingdom of Heaven
A lot of movies now do this and most have good
success with it. What the movie distribution company does, as a type of
featurette, is show off the storyboard and conceptual artwork of a film
and then show actual movie stills from the same film they are showing off
to show how well the stills and storyboard match [get it?]. 20th Century
has done the same for Kingdom
of Heaven, but even goes one better.
Kingdom of Heaven Clips
Yahoo! Movies has teamed up with 20th Century Fox
to offer "Storyboard to Movie - a comparison of storyboard
sketches and actual scenes from 'Kingdom of Heaven'". Instead of just
showing movie stills that match the concept drawings, Yahoo! Movies shows
off entire clips that match multiple drawings on a storyboard. Really good
stuff, and an easy way to see even more clips for Kingdom of Heaven.
