I am going to start by stating that I liked Blade
II a lot better than Blade
Trinity. The only thing that saved Blade: Trinity was
Ryan Reynolds and his easy going humor that had me rolling in my seat. But,
it seems that Wesley Snipes didn't even think he was good, and hated the
entire film; the same film that he starred in.
So, what do you do when you hate your own movie? Sue the production company-- sue New Line Cinema.
Snipes Sues New Line
According to TheHollywoodReported,
Wesley Snipes decided to sue New Line Cinema for a ton of reasons following
Blade Trinity. And yes, one of the reasons is that Snipes considers
Blade: Trinity to be a crappy movie.
So, here seems to be the full list [maybe in order
of importance] on why Snipes did the lawsuit at New Line.
Snipes feels an income tax discrepancy has shorted him three million
dollars. He wants it back
Snipes states that he did not agree with the cast and crew of Blade
Trinity and tried to voice him complaints
Snipes thought that the cast was too white, making him feel slightly
isolated
Snipes did not approve the addition of Hannibal King and Whistler's
daughter, and thought they brought with them a poor sense of humor
Snipes just hated his own movie.
Good times. I am still trying to figure out how you can be shorted a whopping
three million and only get around to it now. Will there be a Blade IV?
Don't count on it.
