If you have read my Sin
City Review, you will know that I loved Sin
City. I, unlike many of the moviegoers, had already read
the graphic novels behind the film, and could not have been happier with
the final result. But now that Sin City is over, is there anything
left to look forward to from the Robert Rodriguez/Frank Miller team?
How about two sequels to Sin City!
Sin City Movie Sequels
The two sequels for Sin City will be shot
back-to-back [the hottest trend] and feature other stories from Frank Miller.
According to the report from Joblo,
here is a little of what we can expect:
Now for the news that I'm sure most people will agree is absolutely great. Robert Rodriguez will be shooting back to back sequels for SIN CITY 2 and 3 starting February of next year for a release presumably summer of 2007. I guess the studio big wigs were satisfied with the commercial and critical appeal of the uber-cool SIN CITY that they jumped on the shooting back to back sequels bandwagon.
Now I would call that GREAT NEWS. Hopefully by the time they get production
for the Sin City sequels underway, Robert Rodriguez may give me
an invite to his production ranch [just in case he is reading this].
