It would seem that Bryan Singer is having a problem
parting from the cast of his last big hits X-Men and X-Men
2. First he took on James Marsden [Cyclops] to play in Superman
Returns and now he may be taking on Hugh Jackman [Wolverine]
as well.
Superman Returns Gets Jackman?
According to the Herald Sun, reposted

the 'Hugh Jackman joining the Superman Returns' cast rumor has
gained some ground. While I would not mind seeing Jackman in Superman Returns,
I hope that does not hurt his relations with 20th Century Fox and the next
X-Men film. Here is what the Herald Sun had to say about
Jackman:
Hugh Jackman has signed on to the Superman
Lives cast as Kent's adoptive father, who appears in flashback sequences.
He'll join Kevin Spacey and Kate Bosworth on the production.
Hmmm, I'm gonna need more proof on this one. How about a couple more good
Superman Returns rumors before really getting excited for Jackman.
Hopefully, Singer may mention it in his next Speeding Bulletin.
