Hugo Weaving gives himself a high five on this one.
Got a little update for those who are excited about
the movie adaptation of the graphic novel V
for Vendetta. Warner Bros has been in talks with Hugo
Weaving and now it looks like he has officially joined the cast.
Weaving with V for Vendetta
According to TheHollywoodReporter,
James Purefoy is out and Hugo Weaving [The Matrix, Lord of
the Rings] is in. So, yes, this would mean that Agent Smith will be
playing the main role of 'V' in V for Vendetta. If you have read
the graphic novel by Alan Moore you already know that 'V' is kind of a creepo
and Hugo Weaving may just fill this role perfectly.
Based on the graphic novel V for Vendetta by Alan Moore. The story
begins with a change of history, stating that the Germans had won World
War II. England is devistated, leaving totalitarian rule over the country.
The only hope remains in a mysterious group run by a man who wears a white
porcelain mask.
