Marlon Brando will return in the form of stock footage.
A while back we posted a rumor that stated that
Marlon Brando may be part of the cast for Superman
Returns. Well, it turns out that rumor is officially true. Now, if you don't find that news amazing, you have probably been living underneath a rock and did not know
Marlon Brando had passed away a little while ago and can't physically join
the cast for the Bryan Singer film. So, how does Singer pull off this black
magic?
Marlon Brando Back for Superman Returns
I don't know what it was about Marlon Brando, but
Bryan Singer is not game for a new actor. The director instead plans to
use stock footage of Marlon Brando playing the role Jor-El [Superman's father]
from the earlier Superman movies. Now, I understand that is a cool
idea, but aren't we going to notice an extremely different chance in cinematography?
Well, with Bryan Singer at the helm I really doubt it and am sure he already
has people re-doctoring the old footage to make it 'look' like new. Fortunately,
there is supposedly a lot of unused footage taken by Richard Donner [the
original Superman director] of Marlin Brando playing the role of
Jor-El that was never used in the final cut.
So, is this gonna be kind of similar to how Tupac continues to create new
records and music even after death? CONSPIRACY!
