Star Wars Revenge of the Sith reviews!
With
Star Wars Revenge of the Sith only a couple more days
away [yes, I'll be seeing it on midnight], it is time for maybe the last
batch of early movie reviews for the last Star Wars film to grace
us at the theatres. That is, of course, if you don't count the return of
all the Star Wars films to theatres in 3D.
Revenge of the Sith Early Reviews
Are you guys sick and tired of the early reviews
for Star Wars Revenge of the Sith yet? Well, according to our latest
stats report, you guys love these things. And why not? Considering that
reviews can be very misleading, the best way to know what you are getting
into is to read a few different ones; or, in the case of Star Wars,
a ton of different reviews. So, here are a couple of new reviews for Star
Wars Revenge of the Sith.
However, while I did hint that I am looking for some negative reviews, these
two latest reviews were too good to pass up.
JOBLO
My favorite of the three most recent STAR WARS movies, REVENGE OF THE SITH mixes all of the best elements from its predecessors, including impeccably integrated special effects, an astounding sci-fi vision and scope, awesome light-saber battles, a handful of fantastic action sequences – set both in space and on the ground – an epic storyline and fun characters, with a much darker umbrella of thoughts and images, as well as surprisingly potent emotional angles, all of which make this film one of the best all-around space adventures that I’ve seen in years. That said, it should be noted that I am definitely a STAR WARS “fanboy” and that I graded the generally-panned episodes I and II pretty high as well, so take that fanaticism into consideration when reading my overall review.

It doesn't matter, of course. I enjoyed the movie. Even though many critics have been rough on the last two "Star Wars" (1999's "The Phantom Menace" and 2002's "Attack of the Clones"), this one is a smashing success on its own terms, achieving exactly what Lucas wanted and carrying most of its viewers where they want to go.
It's also the scariest, most exciting, most visually prodigious of the sextet, with action sequences that explode off the screen, characters who finally awaken your sentiments (a bit) and images of violence, inferno, chaos and the dark side that descend like a shroud of noir.
"Revenge of the Sith" begins with an amazing, bang-up air fight, -- led by young Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Anakin, whipping through the skyscrapers and alleys of city-planet Coruscant -- and ends with awesome visions of destruction, a fantastic plunge into the abyss.
Again, I am sorry I couldn't storm this latest
set of early Revenge of the Sith reviews with negative reports,
but maybe I will do that tomorrow. Besides, I think people would rather
hear what they want to hear-- positive reviews.
