With the post-production on Joss Whedon's Serenity
closing up, it is almost time for him to move forward with his next project--
Wonder Woman.
Wonder Woman News
While talking with NowPlaying,
Whedon decided to spill a few more added details on the current developments
of Wonder Woman. And, when it comes to Wonder Woman developments,
well, there really aren't any yet. Heck, Whedon hasn't even begun to think
about who will play the very iconic, and hopefully sexy, role. However,
Whedon still has a couple ideas that are at least up his and Warner Bros.
sleeve.
Here is a little of what Whedon had to say to NowPlaying:
It [Wonder Woman] goes back to World War II.
This will be in the modern day, but Wonder Woman herself will never be in
the modern day.
Casting [for Wonder Woman] is the last thing on my mind and I’m happy to
say it’s the last thing on Warner Bros.’ and [producer] Joel [Silver’s]
mind too. We’re like, ‘Let’s write the part! Then we’ll have a better idea
of who’s good for it.’ And we’ve talked about whether it should be someone
famous or an unknown. Ultimately there are advantages to both, so nobody’s
thinking about that… except everybody.
