If you are one of those who plan on purchasing
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, better get ready for long
lines and sold-out stores. At least, if the Amazon pre-orders are any good
indication of what to expect.
Half-Blood Prince = Increased Pre-Orders
According to the latest stats, pre-orders for Harry
Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be up to 20% higher than the
last Harry Potter release, Order of the Phoenix; holy
increase in popularity. Because of this, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood
Prince is the #1 order at Amazon, with the childrens version of the
book just behind at #2. Judging by these stats, what this can only mean
is long lines at midnight and sold out stores in the morning. So, here is
your tip-- head over to your local Sams Club or Costco on July 16th and
you should have no problem, nor wait, for purchasing Harry Potter and
the Half-Blood Prince.
Considering that each Harry Potter book seems to double in length,
at least this book may take some of us a week to read.
The latest film in the Potter series,
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, will hit theatres in November
of this year.
