A little violence can solve any relationship
What looks to be one of the most entertaining films
of this June is the Brad Pitt / Angelina Jolie action comedy Mr
and Mrs Smith. A film that can offer up laughs, hotties,
and tons of action has got to be all right in my book. Well, never mind
the guessing, as the first Mr and Mrs Smith movie reviews have
popped up online.
Mr and Mrs Smith Reviews
Since Mr and Mrs Smith is only about eight
days away I am just gonna go ahead and say this for the last time: this
film reminds me so much of the great action blockbuster True Lies.
If Mr and Mrs Smith is even somewhat close to what True Lies,
we could have a great film on our hands.
Some nice readers who were fortunate enough to have seen Mr and Mrs
Smith early have reported in their comments, thoughts, and reviews
to the good people over at AICN.
Below is a snippet from those positive reports:
1. I saw the early Toronto press screening of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in the morning of last week, and let me tell you, I was blown away. I take my summer action blockbuster seriously, and this is quite possibly the best one to hit theatres since X-men 2 (the last true time I jizzed all over the movie screen). Heck, I'd even go to say it's quite possibly the funnest action movie since True Lies, its closest cousin in terms of plot.
2. To sum up. Its worth a watch. A good date movie. There are more than a handful of laughs throughout the film. You re date will love Brad and you can stare in awe at Angelina. I did expect more from Doug Liman though but your date probably wont know who he is!
Not a bad start for this action comedy that stars Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie,
and Vince Vaughn in a tale of two spies who also happen to be a married
couple.
