Open Season
When it comes to CG animation talk, what most people
usually hear is Pixar, Dreamworks, and now Disney. However, Sony/Columbia
Pictures comes ready to play with their teaser trailer for Open
Season. The only thing that sucks is that this film's
release date is still extremely distant.
Open Season Trailer
Considering that Open Season is still
far off with a release date on September 29... 2006, it is obvious that
instead of actually showing footage from the film, the first teaser trailer
sets up a nice little intro to the comedy, and taglines, behind Open
Season. Some of the voices that can be heard are Ashton Kutcher, Martin
Lawrence, Debra Messing, Gary Sinise, and Paul Westerberg.
Open Season tells the story about a deer
who buddies up with a domesticated grizzly bear when the two animals are
alone in the woods during hunting season. Meanwhile, Beth, a forest ranger
who raised the bear, embarks on a desperate search to find her friend.
The animation from Sony/Columbia Pictures shows promise, and they still
have over a year to polish. To check out the trailer for Open Season,
