Jack Black wants to know where KongisKing gets their info.
Just a quick alert for all of the King
Kong fans out there. Peter Jackson does a little Q&A
in the latest production diary '28 Weeks To Go.'
Jackson Talks King Kong
In the latest production diary from KongisKing
and Peter Jackson, Jackson answers a few questions posted by the fans. The
first question was why Jackson wanted to re-tell the King Kong
story in the 1930's instead of the modern day. Jackson says one of his reasons
was just so he could have bi-planes. Not a bad reason really.
Other than that, the best question to be asked was why Jackson does the
King Kong production diaries in the first place. Jackson responds
by showing the first production diary ever, where KongisKing used a home
video camera to ask Peter Jackson for a brief statement while on the set
of King Kong. So, obviously the production diaries were never planned.
Jackson said he realized at that moment the benefit of a production diary
and decided to allow a series; a series that still continues today.
Like most of the production diaries, it does seem
that Jackson is willing to have fun on and off of the set, along with a
humorous cast that includes Jack Black [who states he is going to find the
person behind KongisKing].
