Mark Hamill
Just a brief casting update for those who either
love the Batman series, love Mark Hamill, or love Star Wars. With
Batman Begins
receiving great early reviews, Warner Bros is already looking for a cast
on the sequel. And, what may come as a surprise to some and common knowledge
to others, Mark Hamill, AKA Luke Skywalker, may be in line for the next
film.
Hamill in Batman Sequel?
According to DarkHorizons,
Warner Bros is working to surround Christian Bale in an impressive cast
of well-known faces. One of the things that bothers me about the report
is the fact that it seems that they don't believe Christian Bale can bring
a crowd on his own [hasn't this guy proved himself yet?]. I said whollop
to that, but tons of names are already being mentioned to co-star with the
gifted actor.
In the report from DarkHorizons,
they throw off a couple of interesting names who, at this moment, are only
suspected possibilities for the next Batman film. Here is a snippet
from the report below:
Mark Hamill's name has been casually mentioned
due to his huge popularity in the cartoons as The Joker. Robin Williams,
Sandler....your usual suspects.
Unknown to some, Hamill still does have
a nice following of fans, but a problem still remains as the rest of the
moviegoer community still sees him as Luke Skywalker [a type-casting nightmare].
