A Scanner Darkly
Even though A
Scanner Darkly, the animated adaptation of the novel by
Philip K. Dick, took a push back for a release date, it is still nice to
see anything from this cool looking project. The only thing that is suspicious
is that the newer stills don't look as detailed as the first; is Warner
Independent now hurrying this project?
Scanner Darkly Stills
Thanks to Joblo
who discovered the site, kino-express,
who now features a couple new movie stills for A Scanner Darkly
plus a new movie poster.
If you have never heard of A Scanner Darkly, it is a story about
a future where drugs have become king and even cops are known to take a
hit called Substance D. The result is various cops, including undercover
cop Fred [Reeves], developing split personalities. While Fred works as a
cop, his alter-ego works as a man named Bob, a top level drug dealer. Fred
must find a way to catch Bob.
