When we posted that Joss Whedon was planning on
going forward with a Wonder Woman movie we had such a great response
that we knew that we had to do even the smallest of follow-ups. As of now,
the biggest news for the project would be casting. Who the heck can fill
the shoes of Wonder Woman? Well, Joss has some ideas, and Morena Baccarin
may be one of them.
Seeking Wonder Woman
Now, most of you would not have heard of Morena
Baccarin, but she is still one of the top possibilities as choice-girl for
the role of Wonder Woman in the Joss Whedon film. Having previous experience
with Joss in his television series Firefly and the film adaptation
Serenity,
this hottie has got to be looking real good for the film. Joss has begun
to contact certain female possibilities, with Baccarin being one of them..
In a video interview with IESB,
Baccarin mentions that she and Whedon have discussed the role in Wonder
Woman on more than a few occasions. However, it is still unknown whether
these discussions were anything real or something similar to party-talk
[you know, when you promise your buddy you will get a tattoo with him in
the morning after the party].
