Underdog
I don't know how excited I am about this one, but
Disney and Spyglass Entertainment have announced that they plan to go forward
with a film adaptation of the superhero, or should I sa superdog, cartoon
series titled Underdog.
Underdog to Film
When I first saw the report over at Variety,
I had figured the article to mean that we could expect a sequel to the horrid
comedy Dodgeball. So, I guess news of a cartoon - to - film adaptation
is one step up from this. However, the Underdog movie will not
be animated, but rather live-action with a real dog that has had CG 'helpers'
to enable its mouth to move and perform other impossible animal tricks.
If you are a fan of the movie Cats and Dogs, then you probably
know which direction this film is going.
Disney plans to get working on Underdog
during early 2006. Underdog has recently been spotted in a Visa commercial
where he is last featured among a bunch of different superheroes.
