Having read the first novel by C.S. Lewis, I must
say that I am impressed that Disney figured it can do a Lord of the
Rings-esque film based off of a fantasy novel that is only 180 pages
long. Besides that, The Chronicles of Narnia, as a book, implies
an awkward mixture of children tales and straight-up bloodshed. This must
have left Disney wondering, at least for a second, what the main target
audience would be for this film.
Anywho, the book was great [and an easy read] and I am glad to finally get at least some new updates for the film.

Talk about a damn cool poster for what is supposed
to be a 'childrens action adventure.' Judging that Disney must of had to
expand on the original novel somewhere, I am hoping that we can expect some
pretty grand, and long, battle scenes [the shortest element in the novel].
