If you were feeling like blowing some time on War
of the Worlds, Paramount has recently released a six-minute
b-roll clip that features a bunch of takes through out filming.
War of the Worlds B-Roll Clip
The latest clip released by Paramount features
tons of behind - the - scenes footage featuring action shots, Tom Cruise,
Dakota Fanning, and various discussion dialogue. The two best scenes featured
in the clip is a take of Tom Cruise reacting to an alien attack on city
streets with a store window blowing out right next to him. The other clip
is a shot of Cruise running through what looks to be a farm as Spielberg
sings the Mission Impossible theme. Always nice to see the crew
sharing a couple of laughs while on set.
