Can this super-team pull through at the boxoffice?
While the latter half of movie trailers and TV
spots have been much better for Fantastic
Four, I still admit to have a gut feeling that this film
was going to pull off a slightly - better - than - Daredevil -
showing. I really want this film to be good, considering that it does look
damn entertaining, but it seems that this early review for FF may
be stating otherwise.
Fantastic Four Review
'Ryan,' who saw Fantastic Four at a screening
in New Zealand, reported his review for the film over to AICN.
So what did he think of the film? Was it great? Does four super-characters
work? Well, apparently only kind of. Giving Fantastic Four a score of 5/10,
the review says that the more he thinks of the film the worse it gets for
him. What! Take a look at a snippet of the review below.
Is this a rough start for Fantastic Four, a signal of what's to
come, or just a fluke? I don't know, but you can check out the Fan 4
video by clicking the image or the link below.
With the X Men and Spider-Man
movies proving that superhero films can be extremely good, it's a real shame
that Fantastic Four is a step backwards for the genre.
Don't get me wrong, there's a lot to like about the Fan 4, but
unfortunately, there's even more to dislike! The reason X Men, Spiderman
and even the new Batman film work so well is the studios treat them with
respect by hiring top directors like Bryan Singer, Sam Raimi and Chris Nolan
and actually casting good actors for the iconic roles, shock horror!
Not the best start for this comic book film, hopefully
it is very one-sided [I have my doubts]. To read the whole Fantastic
Four review, head over to AICN.
