'Keith Richards is coming back our way! Eyy!'
In our last article about Pirates
of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest we stated that Keith
Richards was off the Pirates cast due to his schedule for the Rolling
Stones tour. Well, it seems that Keith Richards has changed his mind and
will film with the Pirates cast during moments of spare time; or
so says Johnny Depp.
Depp Talks Pirates 2
In an interview with Sci-Fi wire, Johnny Depp discusses
the current condition of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
and the cast/crews busy schedules. However, the first thing Depp mentions
is that he is still determined to have Keith Richards as his father, and
they are currently working up a schedule that will allow Richards to film
during any possible breaks in the Rolling Stones tour. Below is a snippet
from Johnny Depp and thoughts on the current Pirates 2 developments:
It's weird. We didn't quite know what to expect before we went back into ... Pirates 2. A lot of things happened. ... Orlando's, you know, [in] these big movies. And Keira, you know, all this stuff. And everybody's all over the map. And so we didn't quite know what to expect. And Gore, obviously, Gore's been working like a demon. But honestly, we stepped on the set the first day, and it was like, for me, jumping back into the skin of Captain Jack. ... It felt like we'd had a week off, you know, from the first one. And it's been a really great time, you know? Everybody's been super good and fun, and I think it's going to be good. I hope. I'll knock wood again.
To read the entire interview with Depp, and the
reason why the cast and crew had to take an early hiatus, head over to Sci-Fi
Wire.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest still has a planned
release date of July 7th.
